  • Strong professional experience with PHP including object-oriented programming and modern development practices
  • Strong WordPress experience including custom themes plugins Gutenberg Advanced Custom Fields and WordPress APIs
  • Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript and at least one current framework or library such as React Vue or Next.js
  • Strong knowledge of HTML CSS or Sass responsive design and cross-browser implementation
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases especially MySQL or MariaDB
  • Experience integrating REST APIs webhooks and third-party services
  • Comfort with Git code review package managers build tools and modern local-development workflows
  • Working knowledge of website performance security accessibility technical SEO and browser debugging
  • Excellent problem-solving communication organization and remote collaboration skills
  • At least 5 years of related professional experience

Day to day

  • Build and maintain responsive websites and digital experiences using WordPress and PHP, with a strong focus on custom themes plugins blocks and integrations
  • Develop polished front-end interfaces with semantic HTML CSS JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frameworks like React Vue or Next.js
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across the front end back end hosting and connected services while collaborating closely with designers developers strategists and project managers
