Requirements

  • 12+ years of accounting experience in financial services fintech or high growth technology
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP technical accounting research and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience evaluating complex transactions and applying accounting guidance to business decisions
  • Proven ability to build and improve internal controls and reporting processes in a scaling organization
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with auditors regulators and executive leadership
  • Drive and proactivity in a builder executor environment

Day to day

  • Lead the accounting policy and financial reporting function to ensure accurate and compliant reporting across a fast-growing fintech platform.
  • Establish and maintain US GAAP accounting policies while monitoring FASB and SEC developments and translating guidance into practical decisions.
  • Oversee financial statement preparation review and internal controls and partner with cross-functional teams and external auditors on complex transactions and strategic initiatives.
