Requirements
- 8+ years in engineering with ownership of security system stability and production reliability
- Hands-on engineering leader who remains close to the build
- Proven record hiring mentoring and leading engineering teams
- Experience managing a blended in-house and external team to a budget
- Cloud infrastructure experience e.g. AWS
- Ability to design platform and production pipelines for safe fast delivery
- Comfort building auditable documented systems in regulated environments
- Clear communication with executive and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- AI fluent
- Regulated environment experience

Day to day
- Lead the engineering team and set direction, standards and delivery rhythm.
- Own the platform, infrastructure and AI pipeline with accountability for uptime, security and reliability.
- Build, maintain and evolve AI systems, automations and product-ready middleware that help the business ship faster and operate more efficiently.
- Deploy engineers into cross-functional squads and support teams across the business with the tools and platforms they need.
