Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience with significant hands-on technical work
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience including direct management
- Experience leading legacy system modernization or platform migration efforts
- Experience in a SaaS data or platform product environment
- Expert-level understanding of web application architecture
- Strong knowledge of React or equivalent front-end frameworks RESTful APIs cloud infrastructure and containerization
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines automated test frameworks and observability systems
- Practical knowledge of application security data privacy and compliance in web products
- Working knowledge of agentic coding tools and reliable production review practices
- Proven ability to recruit manage and develop engineering talent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Day to day
- Define and execute a multi-year technology roadmap that modernizes a legacy platform and guides careful migrations.
- Lead and develop the engineering and QA teams while building a high-performing culture with strong standards for quality security and collaboration.
- Own engineering delivery and operational excellence by improving CI/CD testing deployment observability and incident response.
- Partner closely with product business and executive leaders to translate strategy into practical engineering plans and communicate progress clearly.
