Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant leadership or management experience
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in an agency eCommerce or digital product environment
- Strong understanding of modern development workflows project delivery and scalable systems
- Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms is highly preferred
- Ability to align engineering execution with business strategy and client needs
- Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
- Experience implementing or leveraging AI tools to improve engineering workflows and operational efficiency
- Highly organized proactive and solution-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
Day to day
- Lead and support the engineering team in partnership with the Engineering Lead to drive strong performance and technical excellence.
- Own engineering priorities and the roadmap so work stays aligned with company goals timelines and client impact.
- Improve development processes standards and workflows while resolving technical escalations and removing delivery bottlenecks.
- Represent engineering in client and sales conversations and champion the use of AI and other modern tools to improve efficiency.
