Requirements
- Previous experience in a Head of Engineering role with a hands-on software engineering background
- Strong technical judgement beyond Engineering Manager level across multiple teams
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and ideally other leaders
- Track record of owning delivery across multiple teams against a roadmap
- Experience coaching Engineering Managers in performance management promotion readiness hiring and team structure
- Strong grasp of operational excellence including monitoring incident management testing strategy and technical debt
- Experience leading engineering teams working with AWS based systems and infrastructure
- Strong understanding of modern engineering practices and ability to embed them across teams
- Exceptional communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Day to day
- Own the technical direction and engineering health across the Acquisition and Retention pillar, shaping a coherent and scalable strategy
