- Previous experience in a Head of Engineering role with a hands-on software engineering background
- Strong technical judgement across multiple teams
- Experience leading engineering teams and other leaders
- Track record of owning delivery across multiple teams against a roadmap
- Experience coaching Engineering Managers and supporting performance management promotion readiness hiring and team structure
- Strong grasp of operational excellence including monitoring incident management testing strategy and technical debt
- Experience with AWS based systems and infrastructure
- Strong understanding of modern engineering practices
- Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
