Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, payroll, and benefits
  • Experience with a multi-state employment environment
  • Experience supporting multiple business entities
  • Start up experience, particularly in a fast growing company going from 100 to 500 employees
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software, as well as migrating from one HRIS and payroll system to another
  • Experience using TriNet is a plus

Day to day

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, payroll, and benefits. Provide timely and accurate information to enhance employee understanding and satisfaction
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
  • Help create, maintain and communicate HR policies, ensuring employees are informed about company practices and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports as needed for management and compliance purposes
