Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, payroll, and benefits
Experience with a multi-state employment environment
Experience supporting multiple business entities
Start up experience, particularly in a fast growing company going from 100 to 500 employees
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software, as well as migrating from one HRIS and payroll system to another
Experience using TriNet is a plus
What the job involves
Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, payroll, and benefits. Provide timely and accurate information to enhance employee understanding and satisfaction
Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
Help create, maintain and communicate HR policies, ensuring employees are informed about company practices and compliance requirements
Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports as needed for management and compliance purposes
