Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or related field required
- Three to five years of IT experience required
- One year supporting PCs in a multi-site multi-platform environment preferred
- Experience supporting remote staff by telephone preferred
- Experience within the insurance industry highly preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft Office 365 DNS DHCP RHEL Windows and automation tools
- Knowledge of IT system installation configuration and maintenance
- Strong SDLC principles processes tools and techniques
- Knowledge of performance measuring and monitoring of IT systems
- Ability to troubleshoot systems integration issues holistically
- Ability to handle multiple priorities meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work varying hours including on-call evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to document and develop standard operating procedures
- Working knowledge of middleware implementation migration and upgrades
- Ability to maintain and upgrade job scheduling platforms

Day to day
- Operate secure and highly available computing platforms servers and networks with a strong focus on reliability and performance.
- Install maintain upgrade and continuously improve the operating environment while monitoring incidents problems and on-call support needs.
- Deploy new technologies troubleshoot user-reported issues manage middleware and automation and help safeguard company data through security backups and disaster recovery.
