- 20+ years in software industry
- 8-10 years in software architecture for web and mobile applications
- 5+ years in composable commerce architecture
- Expertise in composable MACH architecture headless commerce microservices API-first design and cloud-native architecture
- Proven experience migrating monolithic eCommerce applications to composable cloud architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js React CommerceTools BigCommerce Flooid Commerce Contentstack Contentful Akeneo Pimberly Bluestone PIM Algolia Constructor Fluent Commerce OneStock and fulfillment tools
- Ability to design scalable multi-channel omnichannel eCommerce solutions with focus on performance scalability security integration and NFRs
- Experience collaborating with business product engineering and technology partners to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions
- Experience contributing to RFPs proposals and client presentations
- Ability to drive digital transformation product and platform strategy technology roadmaps vendor evaluation solution co-creation and continuous architecture improvements
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable future-ready commerce architectures
- Experience developing architectural blueprints evaluating technology trade-offs defining target-state architecture and guiding engineering teams
- Experience researching and evaluating emerging commerce technologies and aligning data standards with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Extensive knowledge of AWS Azure GCP cloud native design AWS API Gateway IBM API Connect MuleSoft and Azure API Management
- Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka AWS EventBridge IBM Middleware Redis AWS ElastiCache and MemCache
- Strong expertise in DevSecOps quality engineering API security encryption tokenization Dynatrace AWS CloudWatch AWS X-Ray DynamoDB and MongoDB
- Hands-on integration of payment gateways including Apple Pay Google Pay BNPL and Net Banking
- Strong understanding of SEO SEM email marketing and digital commerce best practices
