Remote IT Lead Full Stack Developer and Operations Support Job in Charlotte, NC Brightspeed

Who you are

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Possess 10+ years of experience in enterprise full stack Java development (J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat) with back-end experience in PostgreSQL or MySQL with Angular front end
• Have 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps, infrastructure, and application support
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Show proven leadership abilities, with experience mentoring junior developers and driving technical excellence within the team
• Have strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (Git)
• Be proficient in GCP and cloud-native architectures
• Exhibit strong experience in APM tools configuration and monitoring (Dynatrace/AppDynamics/New Relic/Datadog/Splunk/Sumo Logic)

Desirables

• GCP certification
• Telecom industry experience

What the job involves

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure
• Design and develop Micro Services based solutions using Java/JEE frameworks, UI frameworks, Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
• Ensure the development of responsive high-performing applications by integrating front-end technologies such as Angular JS
• Champion the implementation and adoption of modern software development practices, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles
• Perform code reviews and provide guidance on secure coding practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, working closely with development and QA teams
• Collaborate within the team to resolve application alerts and monitor operating procedures
• Analyze proposed application design and integrate security practices throughout the CI/CD pipeline
