Who you are
- Advanced user of PLS CADD and PLS TOWER
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in the OHL industry
What the job involves
- Lead, co-ordinate, and produce design engineering solutions for OHL and Substation construction projects
- Manage day-to-day overhead line design activities and liaise with the Design Manager
- Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of industry standards and develop specific design processes
- Review, develop, and train engineering staff
- Provide technical advice and support to personnel and clients
- Attend project briefings, team meetings, and design review meetings
- Assess contract programmes within design and innovation teams
- Liaise with clients for new standards/codes of practice
- Promote company values, safety, and continuous improvement
- Maintain excellent communication throughout the team and wider business
- Carry out duties to meet the varying demands of the business
