Requirements

  • 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with deep expertise in TypeScript and React
  • Demonstrated technical leadership experience including code reviews architecture decisions and mentoring
  • Strong commitment to web accessibility standards including WCAG and Section 508
  • Test-first mindset with a track record of building reliable maintainable software
  • Comfortable with AI-native development workflows and modern AI coding assistants
  • Enough backend and REST API knowledge to collaborate effectively with backend engineers
  • Thrives in a remote collaborative Agile environment and enjoys working closely with engineers product and government stakeholders
  • Communicates clearly and openly in PR reviews planning sessions and client conversations
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Some roles may require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance

Day to day

  • Design, build, and iterate on a high-impact healthcare application using TypeScript and React.
  • Serve as the technical anchor for the frontend team by guiding architecture decisions, reviewing PRs, and championing quality.
  • Drive a test-first methodology and embed WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards into the product while partnering with backend engineers on RESTful API integration.
  • Mentor engineers and collaborate closely with product, delivery, and government stakeholders in an Agile environment.
