Remote Lead Frontend Engineer Job in UK CultureAI

Who you are

• Experience implementing modern frontend frameworks into a large-scale SaaS application
• Excellent JavaScript coding skills
• Comfortable working as part of a small close-knit remote team across the UK and Europe
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively when faced with complex challenges
• Extensive knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as React Vue.js and Angular
• Ability to articulate the trade-offs of each frontend framework and select the best choice for any situation
• Expertise in modern Flex/Grid and responsive CSS and modern JavaScript (ES9+) with the ability to write clean maintainable and efficient code
• Expertise in CSS frameworks such as SASS/SCSS PostCSS tailwind bootstrap
• Strong understanding of web standards accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
• Knowledge of responsive web design principles and experience in creating fluid adaptive layouts that function across various devices and screens
• Experience with version control systems particularly Git
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Understanding of UX design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with Design team
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

What the job involves

• Responsible for designing and implementing innovative features for CultureAI’s SaaS product using modern frontend frameworks and processes
• Guide across the business on the best frontend frameworks processes and libraries to elevate our product to new heights
• Collaborate with the team of UX Designers and Product team on any new features
• Hands on with engineering in this role leading on the design and implementation of innovative new features for the CultureAI product and its support tools
• Guide the full stack PHP Engineers and future dedicated frontend Engineers in adopting the new frameworks and processes
