Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent education and experience
- 7+ years of software quality engineering or related experience with leadership on major projects
- Advanced proficiency in Java JavaScript or TypeScript for quality engineering automation
- Broad knowledge of UI API database and integration testing including message queues or third-party services
- Advanced expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as WebdriverIO Selenium or Cypress
- Experience designing and maintaining complex test frameworks or harnesses
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman supertest or REST Assured
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins using Docker or containers
- Proficient in database concepts SQL and test data management across environments
- Strong understanding of QE methodologies and testing types including unit integration system UAT regression performance security and exploratory
- Strong debugging and analytical skills across the tech stack
- Comfortable working with version control Git or GitHub and complex branching strategies
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
- Strong collaboration skills across squads and external partners
- Experience authoring test cases in test management software such as qTest

Day to day
- Lead the quality strategy for an Agile squad and own test plans and quality outcomes for delivered features.
- Coordinate end-to-end testing across UI API and database layers and collaborate across squads when work spans multiple teams.
- Mentor junior Quality Engineers drive best practices and stay hands-on with complex testing automation defect verification and release readiness.
