Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- 7+ years of software quality engineering or test automation experience with technical leadership
- Expert-level experience with Playwright and TypeScript including framework design and debugging
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript Python and Node.js
- Extensive experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs
- Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks from the ground up
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI platforms
- Experience using Git Jira and modern test management tools
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes and cloud environments such as Azure
- Experience using AI tools and Large Language Models to improve productivity

Day to day
- Lead the design and evolution of scalable automation frameworks for web applications and APIs.
- Build and maintain modern UI and API test suites using Playwright TypeScript and related tools.
- Partner with Engineering Product QA and DevOps to improve release quality automate workflows and strengthen software reliability.
- Mentor engineers review code and define metrics that track coverage flakiness execution reliability and automation ROI.
- Use AI and LLMs to accelerate test creation improve debugging and continuously refine testing practices.
