Requirements
- 3+ years managing software engineering teams with production delivery experience
- Experience managing blended FTE and contractor teams
- Strong technical background in Node.js and JavaScript or TypeScript service development
- Comfort with Angular or a similar modern front-end framework
- Hands-on experience with integration-heavy systems and external dependencies
- Familiarity with DORA SPACE or equivalent evidence-based management frameworks
- Production experience in AWS environments
- Understanding of container-based deployment serverless services and managed databases
- Experience leading infrastructure modernization without disrupting delivery
- Hands-on use of Claude Code Cursor or similar AI-assisted coding tools
- Fluent in Agile DevOps and CI/CD practices

Day to day
- Lead and grow engineering teams, balancing people management with technical leadership in architecture, design reviews, and production support.
- Partner with Product and senior engineering leadership to deliver reliable, data-accurate software and drive a clear technical roadmap.
- Strengthen engineering practices, improve delivery metrics, and foster a culture of confidence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
