Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related STEM field or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of hands-on experience building scalable web applications and services
- 3 years of experience leading or managing a team of 5 or more engineers
- Proven track record of running an agile development process
- Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, and modern web development
- Experience with service development
Nice to have
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with GraphQL and TypeScript
- Experience with Golang
- Knowledge of unit testing or Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Basic understanding of DevOps (CI/CD, Docker)
- Background in eCommerce or restaurant technology
Day to day
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-10 software engineers
- Define and track measurable goals for the team
- Manage an agile development process to deliver incremental value to the Yum Admin & Menu Management platform
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ensure the development and successful execution of realistic project plans
- Nurture and grow your team through hiring, performance management, coaching
- Ensure that the team is delivering secure, high-performance solutions
- Maintain your technical expertise by contributing to architecture, design, and code
