Requirements

  • You're a passionate and experienced design leader with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles
  • 6+ years of experience in UI/UX design with at least 3 years in a design leadership role
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your experience in leading and shipping successful consumer-facing products
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of designers fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies including user research wireframing prototyping and usability testing
  • Experience in developing and implementing design systems and component libraries
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in an agile environment and a track record of delivering results on time and within budget
  • Passion for creating products that make a positive impact in the lives of others

Day to day

  • Lead and mentor a team of talented UI/UX designers fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment stepping in as a player-coach to design when necessary
  • Develop and implement a cohesive design system and component library to ensure consistency and scalability across our products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers Engineers and User Researchers to gather requirements define user flows and create intuitive user interfaces
  • Oversee the end-to-end design process from user research and wireframing to prototyping and visual design
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles ensuring that our products are accessible inclusive and meet the needs of our diverse users
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends and best practices and proactively identify opportunities to improve our design processes and tools
