Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or similar field or equivalent experience
- 9+ years hands-on software development experience including back-end services APIs and databases
- Experience in engineering leadership with 1–2 years direct people management
- Strong problem-solving and system design mindset
- Experience with C# or similar language such as Java
- Experience with enterprise SQL systems such as SQL Server including schema design performance tuning and complex queries
- Self-directed proactive approach to identifying improvements and removing blockers
- Collaborative leadership across engineering product and business teams
- Clear documentation and strong organization in ambiguous situations
- Understanding of observability including logs metrics and alerting
- Quality-focused approach with testing code reviews and regression safety nets
- Comfortable working in distributed remote teams with async communication
- Ability to balance team leadership collaboration and direct technical contribution
