Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience
  • 2+ years in engineering management or technical leadership
  • Strong system design APIs distributed systems and modern backend architecture knowledge

  • Cloud platform experience with AWS GCP or Azure plus infrastructure and deployment practices
  • Proven end-to-end project leadership and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL data storage microservices and service-oriented architectures
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations API development and production troubleshooting
  • Practical experience using AI-powered development tools with strong judgment
  • Ability to design long-term product-oriented systems balancing scalability flexibility and maintainability

Day to day

  • Lead and mentor a backend engineering team delivering scalable commerce ticketing and partner integration systems
  • Own the design development and delivery of reliable secure backend services APIs and third-party integrations
  • Partner with Product SRE and Operations to drive cross-functional execution resolve production issues and improve engineering practices
  • Coach engineers strengthen team capabilities and foster a culture of accountability inclusion and growth
