Requirements
- 5+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience
- 2+ years in engineering management or technical leadership
- Strong system design APIs distributed systems and modern backend architecture knowledge
- Experience leading teams with coaching performance management and career development
- Cloud platform experience with AWS GCP or Azure plus infrastructure and deployment practices
- Proven end-to-end project leadership and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data storage microservices and service-oriented architectures
- Familiarity with third-party integrations API development and production troubleshooting
- Practical experience using AI-powered development tools with strong judgment
- Ability to design long-term product-oriented systems balancing scalability flexibility and maintainability

Day to day
- Lead and mentor a backend engineering team delivering scalable commerce ticketing and partner integration systems
- Own the design development and delivery of reliable secure backend services APIs and third-party integrations
- Partner with Product SRE and Operations to drive cross-functional execution resolve production issues and improve engineering practices
- Coach engineers strengthen team capabilities and foster a culture of accountability inclusion and growth
