Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • PMP – Project Management Institute or equivalent required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills applied to the creation or review of client deliverables and internal methodology and collateral using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Ability to compare and analyze technologies based on business requirements and shifts in industry trends
  • Ability to evaluate applications for buy versus build decisions
  • Ability to leverage expert-level experience
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple engagements involving the assessment and transformation of business practices enabled by various technology applications
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate with colleagues, including executives and senior leaders across the organization
  • Ability to translate complex technological language and concepts into business-friendly terminology for a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, with demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and maintain a high-performing team through effective recruitment, motivation, leadership, and team development
  • Proven skill in analyzing and interpreting data to drive strategies
  • Appreciation for the Olympic & Paralympic Movement and the power of sport

Desirables

  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • Experience in a non-profit organization is a plus



What the job involves

  • The mission of the USOPC's Technology Management Office (TMO) is to manage technology projects efficiently through transparent governance and processes.
  • The TMO Manager ensures that USOPC's technology strategy aligns with overall objectives, leading the execution and value delivery of technology projects.
  • The TMO Manager provides strategic leadership to business systems and project analysts, connecting their work to the broader technology strategy.
  • This position also oversees customer support, ensuring high quality and satisfaction in technology project implementation and issue resolution.
