Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or international equivalent with 5-8 years relevant experience or 9-12 years alternative experience
  • Knowledge of chilled water systems water treatment packages condenser and cooling tower systems air cooled heat exchangers heating water systems and skid mounted pump and tank packages
  • Experience with liquid cooling systems and HVAC on datacenter projects is an added advantage
  • Good working knowledge of ASME codes API standards AWWA and NFPA
  • Ability to prepare and review PFDs P&IDs pipe sizing hydraulic calculations equipment sizing selection datasheets specifications and material requisitions
  • Support mechanical estimates including quantities job hours and budgets for proposal and execution phases
  • Prepare and approve bid analyses and recommendations for procurement of mechanical equipment materials and services
  • Resolve mechanical engineering field and jobsite issues
  • Technical knowledge of engineering calculations software construction methods materials and computer applications
  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory codes standards and approval processes
  • Proficient oral and written communication
  • Prior greenfield or brownfield project experience in Semiconductor AI Data Center Life Sciences Pharma or EV Batteries

Day to day

  • Conduct field investigations and client interviews to define mechanical work scope and cost estimates for projects
  • Lead the design development modification and evaluation of mechanical components and processes
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams clients vendors contractors construction and regulatory personnel to resolve complex technical issues and ensure compliance
