Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in communications journalism public relations or related field
• Media Relations as a core strength required
• At least 9 years of experience in media relations preferably in the technology sector or with technology clients
• Proven track record of securing high-impact media coverage and building strong media relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling stories and messages for different audiences and platforms
• Strong knowledge of the technology industry trends and issues and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging narratives
• Creative proactive and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

What the job involves

• Develop and execute strategic media relations plans to promote the company's products services and thought leadership in the technology sector
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key reporters editors influencers and analysts who cover innovation and technology topics
• Pitch and secure positive media coverage across a variety of channels including print online broadcast and social media
• Prepare and coach spokespeople for media interviews events and speaking opportunities
• Monitor and analyze media trends issues and opportunities in the technology sector and provide insights and recommendations to senior management and internal stakeholders
• Manage media relations resources and vendors
