Requirements

- Media Relations as a core strength required
- At least 9 years of experience in media relations preferably in the technology sector or with technology clients
- Proven track record of securing high-impact media coverage and building strong media relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling stories and messages for different audiences and platforms
- Strong knowledge of the technology industry trends and issues and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging narratives
- Creative proactive and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Day to day
- Develop and execute strategic media relations plans to promote the company's products services and thought leadership in the technology sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key reporters editors influencers and analysts who cover innovation and technology topics
- Pitch and secure positive media coverage across a variety of channels including print online broadcast and social media
- Prepare and coach spokespeople for media interviews events and speaking opportunities
- Monitor and analyze media trends issues and opportunities in the technology sector and provide insights and recommendations to senior management and internal stakeholders
- Manage media relations resources and vendors
