Requirements
- Hands-on experience securing enterprise Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Deep proficiency with Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, MFA, and zero-trust principles
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and KQL
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and data governance controls
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, and Intune
- Experience in DOI, FISMA, FedRAMP, or NIST 800-53 environments preferred
- Ability to develop automation with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Azure CLI, or Logic Apps
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Federal Public Trust (NACI)
- Relevant Microsoft security certifications highly desirable

Day to day
- Engineer and continuously improve the security posture of a Microsoft 365 and Azure environment for a federal interagency platform.
- Configure Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and identity governance controls to enforce zero-trust and least-privilege access.
- Build and maintain Microsoft security services, analytics, automation, and incident response workflows to detect, investigate, and remediate threats.
