Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
- Minimum 8 years of full-stack development experience including native mobile apps for iOS and Android
- Experience developing native mobile applications using Java and JavaScript
- Experience with backend technologies such as Ruby-on-Rails PHP and MySQL
- Demonstrated experience managing and supervising cross-functional Agile development teams
- Experience working in the Federal Government contracting environment supporting DHS IT programs
- Strong knowledge of mobile application architecture API integration and cloud-based environments such as AWS
- Experience supporting mobile applications through the full Systems Engineering Life Cycle including documentation and ATO-related artifacts
- Proven ability to implement secure coding practices and support federal cybersecurity requirements
- Experience developing and executing test plans including Section 508 and regression testing
- Familiarity with Drupal and integration with mobile applications
- Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environments using ticketing and collaboration tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

Day to day
- Design, develop, test, and deploy secure native mobile applications that support FEMA digital services and public-facing missions
- Maintain and enhance mobile apps across the full lifecycle, integrating frontend interfaces with backend systems and cloud-based services
- Collaborate with UX/CX, engineering, and federal stakeholders to deliver accessible, user-centered experiences and support continuous improvement
