Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 5+ years building production mobile applications
- 2+ years in a tech lead staff or engineering management role with delivery responsibility
- Strong iOS development skills with Swift SwiftUI or UIKit Combine or async/await Xcode App Store TestFlight code signing and provisioning
- Strong Android development skills with Kotlin Jetpack Compose or Views Coroutines Flow Android Studio Gradle Play Console and Play Store submission
- Deep understanding of mobile delivery including branching strategies CI/CD staged rollouts feature flagging OTA configuration and crash analytics tooling
- Deep understanding of mobile testing strategy including XCTest XCUITest Espresso JUnit snapshot testing contract testing and device-farm testing
- Active daily use of AI-assisted development tooling with clear judgment on benefits and risks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Day to day
- Lead iOS and Android engineers through the full mobile delivery lifecycle from scoping to post-release monitoring.
- Own the mobile technical roadmap including platform strategy dependency management CI/CD release cadence and app store submission processes.
- Write and review code set engineering standards mentor engineers and drive a test-first culture with strong quality and observability expectations.
- Partner with product design backend QA and DevOps to turn ambiguous requirements into shippable mobile experiences while serving as escalation point for incidents.
