Requirements

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms
  • Experience in functional testing, regression testing, usability testing, performance testing, and security testing of mobile apps
  • Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and tools such as Appium, XCTest, Espresso, Calabash, or Selendroid
  • Strong hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for mobile apps using relevant tools and frameworks
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation tasks and test script development
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working collaboratively with DevOps teams
  • Understanding of mobile app development frameworks, architectures, and technologies to effectively design and execute testing strategies
  • Knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and mobile device testing methodologies, including emulator/simulator testing and real device testing
  • Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and troubleshoot mobile app performance, compatibility, and functionality issues
  • Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation, defect tracking, and reporting using tools like Jira, Zephyr, ReportPortal, TestRail, or Allure
  • Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in a related area.

Specifically, the Mobile Quality Engineer will lead the planning, design, and execution of comprehensive quality assurance strategies and testing processes tailored for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, non-functional, regression, and performance testing of mobile apps, ensuring thorough coverage of requirements and user scenarios.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using tools such as Appium, XCTest, Espresso, and Detox to streamline regression testing and ensure test repeatability.
