Requirements
- Strong technical expertise in mobile testing using physical devices and emulators with focus on testing apps built on React Native Hybrid platform
- Hands on experience standing up automation framework from scratch for testing mobile applications
- Expertise testing and supporting launch of mobile apps in Apple store and Android play store
- Demonstrated quality assurance experience and expertise
- Ability to guide the team with respect to quality assurance best practices and drive adoption of these practices within the team
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with light supervision
- Demonstrable experience seeking out information and learning through self-research
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assess communicate mitigate and escalate risks when necessary
Nice to have
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience with mobile app development using React Native Hybrid platform
Day to day
- You will take the lead in defining and executing the test automation strategy
- Building a robust automated test framework and creating comprehensive automated tests for functionality performance and security
- Your work will ensure the mobile app is fully compatible with both iOS and Android platforms
- You will collaborate closely with the team to understand new requirements update test cases for full coverage conduct thorough release testing and provide support during production deployments
