  • Deep data expertise across Aurora RDS MySQL and DynamoDB
  • Proven track record designing event-driven systems with SQS and adjacent AWS messaging
  • Strong API design sensibility including versioning documentation throttling and backwards compatibility
  • Comfortable operating without a traditional Product Owner and making product trade-offs
  • Strong communication skills and ad-hoc client interaction experience
  • Proven track record with Claude Code and advanced agentic workflows
  • Rigorous engineering standards with Git-based workflows trunk-based development CI/CD Infrastructure as Code testing observability and secure-by-default coding
  • Technical leadership through pairing mentoring PR review and example

Day to day

  • Architect, build and ship complex high-performance distributed services in C# and .NET Core 8/9 on AWS Lambda
  • Design data models and persistence patterns across Aurora RDS MySQL and DynamoDB for scalable transactional and high-throughput workloads
  • Build resilient event-driven systems using SQS and related AWS messaging primitives with strong operational robustness
  • Own features end-to-end by partnering with BAs on discovery scoping trade-offs and delivery
  • Use Claude Code and advanced agentic workflows to orchestrate sub-agents manage context and accelerate delivery
  • Design clean versioned well-documented APIs and contribute to architecture technical direction and engineering standards
