Requirements
- Strong C#/.NET coding skills with hands-on experience in Kafka integrations
- Experience with Confluent.Kafka .NET ProducerBuilder ConsumerBuilder ProducerConfig ConsumerConfig
- Hands-on experience with Confluent Cloud including SASL/PLAIN authentication Schema Registry and ACLs
- Strong understanding of Kafka concepts topics partitions consumer groups offset management and rebalancing
- Experience with Avro and JSON Schema serialization using .NET serializers and deserializers
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Kafka connectivity messaging and application-level integration issues
Day to day
- Migrate Kafka producers and consumers from Parcel UK Kafka to Confluent Cloud.
- Update Confluent.Kafka .NET client configurations and validate secure connectivity.
- Read modify and test .NET producer and consumer code to ensure reliable end-to-end message flow.
- Troubleshoot throughput performance and integration issues while collaborating with .NET engineers.
