Requirements

  • Minimum six years of experience with software development using .NET framework, C#, SQL, WPF, and WCF to modify and enhance existing financial applications
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including SSRS and SSIS for data reporting and integration processes
  • Experience working with complex financial systems and knowledge of accounting principles, with specific exposure to Workday’s Foundation Data Model (FDM) or similar systems is highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience with data migration, integrations, and exchanges between disparate systems using SSIS or equivalent tools
  • Proficiency in UI technologies, specifically WPF, to modify user interfaces in line with new data models
  • Expertise in designing, modifying, and deploying financial reports using SSRS, ensuring alignment with new FDM structures
  • Minimum six years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a senior or technical lead role
  • Minimum four years of experience developing with Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, WPF, WCF, WinForms, T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, or other ETL processes
  • Proven track record of leading system remediation/development projects, preferably involving financial systems
  • Previous experience working on Workday or similar ERP system integrations would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies, working in iterative development cycles, and delivering regular updates to stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills to tackle complex technical challenges, identify system bottlenecks, and implement scalable solutions

  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies

Day to day

  • Analysis, design, and development of changes to align financial systems with the Foundation Data Model (FDM), including modifications to legacy chart of account (COA) formats
  • Make changes to computer programs, databases, user interfaces, integrations, and reporting for FDM compliance
  • Work with teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions aligned with business processes and system architecture
  • Perform necessary data migration/conversion, update SSIS packages, and ensure smooth transitions to the FDM
  • Engage in One Washington’s end-to-end test cycle, bug fixes, and support for One Washington go-live/stabilization
