Requirements
- 10–15+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Node.js expertise
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Strong Node.js runtime internals knowledge
- Deep understanding of asynchronous programming
- Advanced JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript skills
- Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js NestJS Fastify or Koa
- Strong software architecture and system design knowledge
- Experience designing microservices event-driven systems and distributed architectures
- Knowledge of DDD Clean Architecture CQRS and Saga patterns
- Experience with REST GraphQL gRPC WebSockets and OpenAPI
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB Redis or Elasticsearch
- Understanding of data modeling indexing query optimization transactions replication and sharding
- Hands-on experience with Kafka RabbitMQ AWS SQS SNS or NATS
- Knowledge of event sourcing idempotency retry strategies dead-letter queues and eventual consistency
- Experience with AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker Kubernetes Helm Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with logging tracing metrics monitoring and performance tuning
- Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0 OIDC JWT RBAC ABAC OWASP Top 10 secure API development secrets management and encryption best practices
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and lead technical discussions
