Requirements
- 4+ years of observability engineering experience
- OpenTelemetry instrumentation of Python services
- AWS CloudWatch and X-Ray integration experience
- AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry ADOT knowledge
- W3C Trace Context and Baggage propagation knowledge
- Experience with LangChain instrumentation
- Experience with AWS AgentCore Observability
Day to day
- Design and implement observability solutions for AI platforms agent-based systems and distributed cloud-native applications
- Instrument Python services using OpenTelemetry SDK and AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry to deliver rich telemetry
- Develop distributed tracing solutions with AWS X-Ray and OpenTelemetry to improve operational visibility and troubleshooting
- Configure telemetry collection propagation and export pipelines across AWS environments while building monitoring standards for AI agents and workflows
- Implement CloudWatch dashboards metrics logs alerting and structured logging to support debugging root-cause analysis and reliability improvements
