Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with significant infrastructure platform or reliability work
- Deep fluency with cloud infrastructure ideally AWS and infrastructure as code such as Pulumi Terraform or similar
- Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines
- Security mindset with awareness of least privilege secrets management and key rotation
- Familiarity with SOC 2 Vanta or similar compliance tooling
- Hands-on experience with observability tooling such as Datadog Prometheus Grafana or Elastic
- Experience defining SLOs running postmortems and improving on-call processes
- Ability to own systems end to end from IaC to runbooks
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in or alongside small fast-moving engineering teams

Day to day
- Own and evolve platform reliability through observability incident response SLOs and on-call practices
- Lead the buildout of a stronger release pipeline with merge queues feature flags and per-domain release gates
- Manage cloud infrastructure including Pulumi modules AWS account structure identity networking and security tooling
- Drive security and compliance work across the stack including Vanta remediation SOC readiness vulnerability scanning and secrets management
- Partner with product engineering teams to remove platform drag and ship safer faster abstractions
