Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of embedded software or firmware development experience using C/C++
- 3+ years of experience with RTOS
- Experience in regulated industries such as medical industrial safety or automotive
- Experience with firmware debugging tools including JTAG/SWD oscilloscopes logic analyzers and protocol analyzers
- Ability to deliver firmware across the full development lifecycle from requirements to validation
- Proficient with Agile development and DevOps tools such as Git CI/CD and automated testing frameworks
- Experience with FMEAs and risk mitigation strategies in firmware
- Strong communication and writing skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience defining technical requirements and system subsystem module architectures

Day to day
- Lead firmware design implementation and testing across new product development and sustaining product lifecycles
- Translate high level concepts into robust maintainable firmware architectures and own software architecture decisions
- Collaborate with hardware engineers Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver compliant well documented and rigorously tested embedded solutions
- Support planning risk mitigation metrics and process improvement across multiple simultaneous programs
