Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 5+ years designing enterprise-scale distributed systems and cloud-native applications
- Expert-level proficiency with C# .NET 8+ ASP.NET Core Blazor Entity Framework SQL Server and Azure SQL
- Extensive experience with Azure App Services Azure SQL Database Azure DevOps Azure Functions Azure Storage Azure Key Vault and Azure Monitor
- Strong experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Advanced knowledge of Git workflows and version control strategies
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures
- Strong understanding of application security authentication authorization and secure coding practices
- Experience designing highly available fault-tolerant scalable systems
- Expertise with automated testing including unit integration and end-to-end testing
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles
- Exceptional communication collaboration and leadership skills
- Proven ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams

Day to day
- Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for a background screening platform
- Lead the design and modernization of scalable secure cloud-native applications using modern .NET and Azure services
- Partner with product engineering security and DevOps teams to solve complex problems improve engineering standards and mentor engineers
