Remote Principal Software Engineer Job in United States Snout

Who you are

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a track record of leading development projects to successful completion
• Strong proficiency in our tech stack: Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, AWS, Tailwind, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience in developing and enhancing user interfaces and user experiences
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and contribute to spirited debates on product and technical plans
• Comfortable with a startup environment, taking initiative, and showing ownership of projects
• Available to work pacific hours (9a-5p) and participate in daily team meetings and discussions

What the job involves

• Lead the development and implementation of new wellness plan features and capabilities
• Enhance the user experience of our wellness platform for both pet owners and veterinary partners
• Conduct testing and operation of the wellness platform to ensure reliability and performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and support teams to support technical operations
• Participate in product and technical planning debates, taking initiative to deliver on established plans
• Regularly meet with the team for planning, pair programming, and participate in continuous slack discussions
