Requirements
- 2–4+ years of product or UX design experience in a SaaS or digital product environment
- Strong proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
- Demonstrated ability to handle end-to-end design independently
- Solid understanding of UX research methods and when to apply them
- A portfolio showing thoughtful problem-framing and well-executed design solutions
- Clear and confident communicator
- Attention to accessibility and inclusive design best practices is a plus

Day to day
- Own design execution for features and workflows across Built’s platform from discovery through delivery, including draw management, budget tracking, and compliance surfaces.
- Lead user research activities such as customer interviews, usability tests, and synthesis sessions to deepen understanding of lenders, owners, contractors, and inspectors.
- Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver feasible polished solutions.
- Contribute to the design system, articulate design decisions clearly, and use data and behavioral insights to validate and iterate on design choices.
