Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Four to six years of experience
- Legislative and regulatory compliance experience
- Ability to review and interpret regulations
- Familiarity with use of laboratories for testing
- Knowledge of chemical constituents is a plus
- Product compliance and/or furniture industry experience is a plus
- Unwavering ethics and integrity
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to multi-task
- Analytical and solutions- and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical, written, and communication skills
- Experience with regulatory or policy drafting or writing, training and presentation experience is a plus
- Ability to translate and communicate complex concepts clearly

- Strong interpersonal and team skills
- Collaborative and learning mindset
- Spoken and written foreign language skills, esp. Italian or Chinese, a plus

Day to day
- Completing initial, periodic, and ad hoc reviews during the full life cycle of regulated products
- Requesting, reviewing and interpreting test results, supplier documents and technical reports
- Confirming compliance and ensuring products can ship on time
- Keeping commercial teams informed of compliance status
- Ensuring product teams are aware of new and upcoming regulations
