Who you are

  • 3-6 years experience in DevOps Production Engineering Site Reliability Engineering or similar role
  • Experience working with legacy code, such as Java 11
  • Configure and maintain public cloud infrastructure, such as AWS
  • Work with relational databases, such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
  • Troubleshoot user-facing issues involving desktop environments networking and web browsers
  • Effectively communicate with and write for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Being accountable for respond to resolve issues within established Service Level Agreement timeframes
  • Operate effectively in a distributed team environment with colleagues across multiple time zones



What the job involves

  • Maintain, monitor and support key technical systems within Technology organization
  • Hybrid of site reliability engineering operations support application development
  • Work closely with small team of Production Support Engineers larger application development group partner with operations teams
  • Write clean and maintainable code in Java Python or TypeScript
  • Monitor production and improve automated monitoring capabilities
  • Own root cause analysis of outages implement resulting fixes and improvements
  • Debug and resolve system errors identified by automated or manual testing
  • Troubleshoot document resolve issues with business and operations users
  • Execute manual workflows to support business users write code to automate
  • Improve CICD modify infrastructure-as-code to provision resources
  • Write playbooks technical deep dives improve knowledge base
  • Be on-call to respond to high-priority production incidents
