Requirements

  • PhD or MSc in organic chemistry
  • Scientific/technical/chemical writing experience ideally for a CDMO or Pharmaceutical company or similar
  • Experience in process chemistry and/or biocatalysis would be desirable but not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable to communicate and influence with senior Biosynth leaders
  • Detail-oriented
  • Multi-task and ability to prioritize more critical proposals over less critical
  • High proficiency in English writing skills

Nice to have

  • Experience in process chemistry
  • Experience in biocatalysis

Day to day

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Writer to join our Complex Chemicals Division.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in developing high-quality proposals for our customers and will require collaboration with our commercial teams ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry standards.
  • The Proposal Writer will estimate project costs for new project RFPs, resupply batches, and change orders by working with site technical leads, and create professional proposals which summarize the pricing strategy and technical approach for each project.
