Requirements

  • 5+ years QA or test automation experience for modern web applications
  • Strong Playwright experience or equivalent E2E framework
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for automation frameworks and CI integrations
  • Strong front-end understanding including browser behavior DOM network debugging auth and caching
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs request response debugging and database literacy
  • Experience with API testing using Postman Swagger or code-driven checks
  • Experience with CI/CD and Git-based workflows such as GitHub Actions
  • Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes without a pre-defined backlog
  • Strong written communication and clarity in ambiguous environments
  • Must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work without sponsorship

Day to day

  • Own and lead the automated testing practice across web applications and WordPress sites
  • Define QA strategy including test coverage targets release gates and ownership expectations
  • Build and maintain Playwright-based E2E and UI automation plus API and integration checks
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD and improve release readiness with artifacts flake mitigation and reporting
  • Establish test data environment strategy performance testing baselines and automation workflows
