Requirements

  • 4+ years in QA or test automation in an Agile environment
  • Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks
  • API testing with Python using pytest unittest or similar
  • UI testing with Cypress and TypeScript
  • Demonstrated use of AI development tools and coding assistants for tests
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines ideally GitHub Actions
  • Exploratory testing skill finding meaningful defects without a script
  • Experience with Docker Git version control workflows and API tooling such as Postman or curl
  • Working experience with AWS services in a testing or deployment context
  • Ability to apply requirement traceability boundary value analysis and stability and usability testing
  • Strong written communication for test plans failures and sign-offs
  • Proven ability to work self-directed and help junior QA engineers

Day to day

  • Own end-to-end quality for a continuously deployed platform used by small businesses
  • Build and improve agents that generate test coverage diagnose failures and monitor systems
  • Perform exploratory testing root cause analysis and release readiness decisions with clear evidence
