Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related discipline
  • 9+ years designing developing and executing software test strategies and test plans
  • 2+ years developing executing and maintaining automated test software
  • Experience with functional regression integration performance and load testing
  • Experience testing back-end services and front-end user interfaces
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as JMeter Cucumber Gherkin Selenium SOAP-UI and RESTful API testing
  • Proficiency using MS SQL queries for backend validation
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and tools such as Jira or Kanban
  • Strong attention to detail analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to successfully complete a federal Position of Public Trust Level 5 background investigation

Day to day

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies across functional regression integration performance and load testing
  • Perform manual exploratory and API testing to validate workflows integrations defect fixes data integrity and security
  • Lead defect triage collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams and improve automation CI/CD integration and quality processes
