Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, including writing and executing test plans and test cases
- Prior experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with testing web applications and APIs
- Prior experience with EHR (Epic Systems, Athena, Cerner, etc), is highly preferred
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Experience with SQL and performing database queries to validate data integrity
- Previous experience in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment is nice to have
- Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with direct communication and feedback
- Passion for ensuring the highest quality in software products, with a strong attention to detail
- Experience with software development lifecycle and the role of QA within it
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about how users will interact with the product
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Day to day
- Execute detailed manual tests on both frontend and backend components to identify and document software defects
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify issues, and provide feedback on the quality of the product
- Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups, contributing to a seamless and efficient development process
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities
- Provide detailed reports on test findings, track issues to resolution, and validate defect fixes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process, suggesting enhancements to testing tools, methodologies, and practices
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and promote a culture of quality across the development teams
