Role


Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA
  • 2+ years of SQL and Snowflake experience
  • 1+ years of experience using Azure Data Factory
  • Experience with database testing
  • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail or similar tools
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience creating and executing smoke tests and user acceptance tests
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirables

  • Experience in front-end testing using testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress
  • Cloud based development (Azure, AWS, etc.) experience
  • Experience with Snowflake databases



What the job involves

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our software applications
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues
  • Create, maintain, and execute automated tests using various testing tools and frameworks
  • Conduct manual and automated front-end testing to ensure that the user interface is user-friendly and responsive
  • Create functional, smoke, and user acceptance tests to ensure that the software meets the acceptance criteria and is ready for production release
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and customer support to ensure that the software is of the highest quality
  • Perform ad-hoc testing, regression testing, and performance testing as required
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results
  • Continuously improve the software quality process by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices
