Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related
  • Previous work experience as a QA Engineer, QA Tester, or relevant position in the IT department
  • Familiarity with the software development process
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines
  • GIT knowledge
  • Understanding of testing protocols
  • Experience with Blockchain knowledge, smart contracts and ways/tools to test them
  • Experience with stress and performance testing using tools like JMeter or K6
  • Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
  • Knowledge on how to work on an agile team
  • Attention to detail
  • Solidity knowledge
  • Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and C#
  • Expertise in automation testing tools like Cypress, Selenium and Cucumber
  • Expertise in API testing (REST)

Day to day

  • Working closely with the development and product teams on a daily basis
  • Participating on meetings since the beginning of the process until the release of the features
  • Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures
  • Planning and prioritizing testing activities
  • Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
  • Ensuring the system is tested end-to-end before the software delivery
  • Creating and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Conducting regression testing when needed
  • Identifying problem areas and suggesting ways to improve bug detection
  • Staying up to date with the latest testing tools and strategies
  • Conducting functional testing, regression testing, integration testing and re-testing of bug fixes
  • Creating comprehensive and well-structured test plans and cases
  • Prioritizing and executing tests
  • Reviewing specification and design documents
