Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience building and maintaining test automation for complex software systems
- Excellent programming ability in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Comfortable writing and maintaining production-grade automation code
- Proven track record of designing leading and delivering large-scale cross-functional quality initiatives
- Able to triage and debug test failures independently
- Experience performing root cause analysis on product bugs and flaky tests
- Hands-on experience integrating AI into the quality workflow
- Strong judgment when reviewing AI-generated output
- Significant experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership

Day to day
- Build and scale test automation, quality infrastructure, and performance testing systems for complex AI-driven products.
- Lead the design and implementation of core automation frameworks, including the migration from Cypress to Playwright and the performance testing framework.
- Perform root cause analysis on defects and test failures, triaging issues across product, test, and environment to route them to the correct owner.
- Tackle challenging quality problems from automation architecture to AI-assisted testing, driving projects from ideation through deployment with high autonomy.
