Requirements
- Must reside in California
- Experience supporting multiple locations or decentralized work environments
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 to 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience
- Substantial California expertise
- Experience supporting California employment practices and laws
- Strong interpersonal communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with managers and employees
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Professional services legal or corporate environment preferred

Day to day
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned Western Region offices and provide day-to-day support to managers and employees.
- Partner with office leadership and centralized HR teams to manage onboarding and offboarding performance reviews benefits open enrollment compliance training and employee relations matters.
- Monitor compliance analyze trends improve employee experience and resolve routine HR issues while escalating complex matters appropriately.
